[Balug-Talk] False: "lost password feature is broken"; list policies, etc.

Thanks for reporting where you seem to have had a problem, but I just
checked, and the password recovery feature appears to work perfectly
fine, and we're unable to reproduce evidence of such a problem at this
time.

Sending to the list isn't the most appropriate means to get removed
from a list, but in any case, you
("Michael T. Halligan" <michael at halligan.org>) have been removed from
the BALUG "talk" list.

Sorry if you didn't find list policy (and/or any attempts at enforcement
thereof) precisely to your liking - these policies do tend to change and
evolve over time based on general expressions of member preferences
and the like (any particularly extended discussions on those matters
should probably mostly go on the "admin" list:
http://lists.balug.org/listinfo.cgi/balug-admin-balug.org
).

I/we will likely be mentioning some more details on some changes on
list policies and procedures fairly soon, ... but nothing particularly
Earth shaking or radical in change, mostly just some "evolving" minor
adjustments (if one is curious, peek at approximately the latter half of
this list posting:
http://lists.balug.org/pipermail/balug-admin-balug.org/2007-October/000419.html
to get an idea of some likely upcoming changes).

Quoting "Michael T. Halligan" <michael at halligan.org>:

> Since you are the mighty list administrator, please remove me. The
> lost password feature is broken.
