> Adobe Premier Pro

Back in April, when you hit up the sf-lug mailing list with emergency
(yet free-of-charge) help with satsifying these guys -- after doing zero
requirements analysis for the job and then acting all surprised to hear
about an undisclosed need you were expected to meet instantly -- you
described this software variously as either "Adobe Elements" and "Adobe
Premiere Pro" with no version stated, even after requests for
clarification.

After much wasted time, it turned out that you were speaking of Adobe
Premiere Elements for Windows -- either 3.x or 4.0 at that time (you
never did clarify that). Premier Elements is a stripped-down,
entry-level, novice variant of Premier Pro. It is _not_ the same as
Premier Pro.

At the time, I asked you to please, in the future, be more careful to be
accurate, concerning critical things like application names and versions
for which you were seeking help.

Oh well.

> iTunes

Wow, crucial productivity software for educators, I see. (Maybe World of
Warcraft will be the next requirement.)

By the way, pro bono publico:
"iTunes" on http://linuxmafia.com/kb/Apps/AV

See, this is exactly the kind of bullsh** you get with no requirements
analysis. There's always someone who says "I refuse to accept your work
unless you give me exactly what I already have."

> WINE will not support any of the apps he needs, AFAIK.

Sounds like "I didn't seriously try". Someone who's serious about
allegedly crucial requirements for a Linux deployment would at least
give it a strong effort with (among other things) the gratis trial
version of Crossover Office, to pick up any necessary tips about WINE
config.

That's something I told you long ago in private mail, you may recall.
