Those in the Berkjeley area wishing to attend tonight's BALUG mtg in SF could also save a little money (and maybe some time too) by taking BART and walking.
- Roundtrip gas and bridgetoll from UC Berkeley and Downtown SF in stop-and-go City traffic should cost just about $10
- Parking near the Four Seasons Resturant is $5 as noted below
- Roundtrip BART from Downtown Berkeley and the Montgomery SF BART is just under $7; the short and healthy eight-block walk to/from Four Seas Restaurant is "free as in beer" ;)
- Another advantage of taking BART is that BALUG mtg attendees can catch up on reading brief printed material such as a newspaper or a tech journal ( or the printout of the interview with tonight's guest speaker at http://www.linuxworld.com/news/2008/061708-kernel.html....hint, hint :D )

ust some thoughts on this...
