If you don't like BALUG's mailing list structure, maybe you should
have your own mailing lists. Oh wait, _you do_ have your own mailing
lists (or, technically, Google Groups has them for you).

For some reason, nobody posts to either of your Google Groups but you --
a half-dozen posts to each of the pair, total, over their entire history.
And yet, you're giving advice to others about the traffic patterns on
_their_ mailing lists. Odd, isn't that?

FWIW, nothing in this discussion has thus far seemed to require
speaking-as-listadmin actions or views.

Kindly cut the bullshit, John. You "posted there" _solely_, literally,
to thank Andrew and me for our volunteer work. That was literally all
you said. Therefore, you were not cruelly and unjustly ignored. You
just literally said nothing for which a reply was useful or appropriate.

Kindly cut the bullshit, John. Quoting my sole comment as listadmin
verbatim, once again:

   Which brings me to the guy I shave: I'm the mailing list listadmin.

   <hat="listadmin">
   As listadmin, I agree with Andrew: You should not post PenLUG (or other
   non-BALUG) carpool messages to balug-talk.
   </hat>

You're a bright boy. You can figure that out if you try.

I have an idea: You're really fond of outsourcing the actual small
effort of building, maintaining, and administering mailing lists to
Google Groups. You already have two of them (where, as mentioned,
you've been the sole poster for lo! these many months of "BerkeleyTIP").
Since you and Jesse Zbikowski think it's vital to have a public
discussion forum for discussing carpool arrangements between
Oakland/Berkeley and various events at BALUG, SF-LUG, PenLUG, and
elsewhere, why don't you and/or Jesse just create a _third_ Google Group
for that purpose?

It can be called, oh, dunno, maybe Berkeley-TIP-Global-Carpool, or
something.
