Are there any Linix (Ubantu) applications/software for Amateur Radio (HAM
Radio) ? I am going to be working in an emergency radio volunteer NET with
certain objectives in mind. All emergency operations must be maintainable
with a 12 volt car Battery. Knowledge of Solar Event (Carrington Event) or
Space N-EMP event (both essentially the same) shielding information is
important to keep a minimum emergency communications system up for modern
chip based Radios and laptop computers, charging systems, etc.
