Hi Michael, here's a revised BoF announcement.

A roundtable on open source tools for network and server monitoring and management, we'll briefly discuss the the state of the IT management tools industry -- both commercial and Open Source. Theproject leads for ganglia, Cacti, rrdtool, MRTG, NeDi, and Smokeping will present briefly on their tools and answer questions.
Finally, we'll describe an approach that integrates multiple open source tools to create a comprehensive Network Monitoring solution.

-------------------------------------------------------

I haven't found out from LinuxWorld yet if there's a hard stop at 7PM; either way: everyone's invited back to GroundWork's offices at 139 Townsend St. (one block from AT&T Park) afterwards to mingle and continue the discussion.

Thanks, and feel free to contact me anytime with questions.

Cheers, -Peter
