Personally I would like to see a forum with rideshares *from* SF *to*
Linux events anywhere.  Since this is for people originating in SF (or
Oakland/Berkeley and stopping in SF), I think it is more appropriate
to tie this to BALUG or SF-LUG than to PENLUG.  If balug-talk is not
appropriate for this then let's start something new.
