VERP_CONFIRMATIONS = Yes

For better or worse with the installed Mailman version,
that's only globally configurable, not per-list.

Let's see if that helps nail some of the annoying bounces /
auto-responders where source isn't otherwise identifiable ...

Here's a typical example I get from sending to:
balug-announce@lists.balug.org
... but trimming headers ("only" removing those that offer no clue as to the
email address that "bounced" / auto-responded):
