Er, footnote was supposed to be:

[1] Listinfo pages for SVLUG's mailing lists _would_ be better
maintained and more informative, except the elected officers decided to
change all listadmin passwords as of early 2005, and subsequently 
have neither maintained the mailing lists themselves nor delegated
access to people more experienced in such matters.  E.g., I used to
fix the informational pages on the group's behalf, but for more than a 
year have been unable to help.
