I'm hoping we'll have our Oct. speaker for BALUG (re-)confirmed shortly
this month or at least by quite early next month, and we'll probably get
an annoucement out shortly after we get that (re-)confirmed and include
the information about the Inaugural Monitoring SIG Meeting and/or
reference/pointer(s) to it/details.

In the meantime, also feel free to pass that item on on the balug-talk
list, which is unmoderated.
