The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be holding the following meeting:
Monday April 20, 2015 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Presentation: KDE Connect presented by Bill Kendrick
"KDE Connect" is a project that aims to let your different devices communicate with each other. For example, can receive your phone notifications on your computer, use your phone as a remote control for your desktop, easily share photos and other files between devices (without using cables!), and more.
To achieve all this, KDE Connect implements a secure communication protocol over the network, and allows any developer to create plugins on top of it. Currently there are KDE Connect clients on the KDE desktop for Linux, Android and and Blackberry devices (with support for iPhone coming soon).
This meeting will be held at:
Explorit 3141 5th Street 315 East 14th Street Davis, CA 95616
