I think it's a great idea, I've been looking at allot of vm work too and that sounds like fruitful research.
Especially excited to learn more about filesystems

So, was thinking, possible topic(s) for 2025-05-20 BALUG meeting. I had in mind, potentially something (like/approximating): Storage (partitioning, ext{2|3}4}, md, LVM, LUKS, ZFS, migrating, modernizing, growing, shrinking, etc.)
Probably most notably since I've been doing some more mucking about with most all of that recently - looking at some drive upgrades (notably capacity increases), and been doing fair bit of planning and testing (mostly on VMs) to test out various scenarios, and also determine how I want to get from where I/we are, to where I/we want to be (some of the storage layout hasn't been significantly redesigned in well over a decade).
Could also talk about Ventoy (also been doing some testing of that recently - pretty nifty, but alas, doesn't handle all bootable images), or of course other topic(s) folks might be interested in.
So, thoughts/suggestions on topic(s) for 2025-05-20 meeting?
