Well, ... looks like announcements are in the archive: http://lists.balug.org/pipermail/balug-announce-balug.org/2006-July/date.htm... ... but I didn't receive either of those e-mails, but I recieved the balug-admin@lists.balug.org e-mails fine (I've got my options set so that I also get sent list items where I'm subscribed including when I am the sender).
Are other folks receiving the e-mails from the "announce" list okay?
Quoting Michael Paoli Michael.Paoli@cal.berkeley.edu:
Okay, announcement is out ... er, uhm, ... any second now? Okay, I sent it, ... still haven't seen it come through quite yet (or get stuck in the queue for moderation). Anyway, hopefully it comes through *real soon now* ... I also include a copy further below.
Also, I tweaked a few things on the main web page that caught my eye and/or that of my spell checker: s/technolgy/technology/ s/August 18/August 15/ s/thaat/that/ s|>http://www.secondlife.com<|>http://www.secondlife.com/<| s/Pleae/Please/ s/chinese/Chinese/ s/conjuction/conjunction/
Quoting Michael Paoli:
Anyone want to add anything to announcement to go out *real soon now*?
Unless someone beats me to it I'll send out announcement regarding Tuesday's meeting and also mention of next month's meeting.
Anything else we should add?
I'll probably get it out within the next two hours.
And copy of what I sent to the announce list (should show up *any time now*!):
