Could possibly work well, ... perhaps in Feb.? - as we may have something lined up for Jan.: http://lists.balug.org/pipermail/balug-admin-balug.org/2005-December/000106....
Also (set the Reply-to:) might want to direct/follow this up on the balug-admin list ... and we can work out details there, like how much Internet bandwitdth would be needed for it to be feasible (e.g. would dial-up or cellular modem suffice?), who might possibly be able to provide or arrange for such and how, etc.

I have found, or rather asked my Librarian if he could do a presentation. Now, this isn't any ordinary librarian. He serves our school with over 200 weblogs, he has agreed to present Manilla\Manila the software he uses to provide the school with the personalized weblogs. His presentation would require an internet connection, so since we don't provide the internet connection we need to ask the restorant if they have it or if there is a free access point that can be reached from the restaurant. He said he is willing to pay $10 for access at the restaurant. If this January meeting is already take he might be able to make it the February meeting. The presentation will be on "Using semi-opensource content managment system to put a high school online." Please get back on the internet connection status and the interest on this presentation.
Enough bandwith so that we don't wait too long, it's this site he will be demonstrating, www.galileoweb.org Shouldn't be too big, although cellular is much be advized as dial-up could be too slow for us to wait for it to load.
